As Head of Construction, you will shape the future of vocational education in a dynamic and supportive environment, influencing curriculum design, team leadership, and strategic direction.

The Role:

  • Lead the strategic development and delivery of Construction programmes (Entry Level to Level 5, including apprenticeships and HE)
  • Drive curriculum innovation including Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), carbon-zero practices, and immersive learning technology
  • Inspire and manage a high-performing team across multiple construction trades
  • Ensure exceptional learner outcomes, industry alignment, and employer satisfaction


The Person:

  • Strong vocational background in construction or a related field
  • Proven leadership experience within further education or training
  • Passionate about green skills, innovation, and teaching excellence
  • Qualified to Level 3 or higher; teaching and/or leadership qualifications desirable
