In this role, you'll work with large time-series datasets from nuclear plant instrumentation, applying statistical, signal-processing, and machine learning techniques to detect trends, identify anomalies, and support diagnostics. You'll also develop automated tools, create clear visualizations, and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The Role:


  • Build and refine models to detect trends, anomalies, and equipment degradation

  • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to time-series data

  • Develop automated tools for data processing, analysis, and reporting

  • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to improve testing methods and insights

  • Translate complex results into clear visuals and reports for internal and external customers

  • Support research into new diagnostic and monitoring technologies


The Person:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • Strong skills in Python for statistical modeling and machine learning (regression, clustering, etc.)

  • Experience working with large time-series datasets and signal processing

  • Knowledge of data pipelines, automation, and database tools

  • Strong communication skills, able to convey technical insights to varied audiences

  • Interest in applying advanced data science principles to nuclear plant testing and monitoring
