About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Building Services Manager to join a leading UK manufacturer and service provider in the building performance and compliance sector. This is a key role where you'll oversee the technical delivery of building services projects, manage and mentor engineers, and work closely with clients to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.

This role offers a mix of technical leadership, project management, and people development, with opportunities to work on a wide variety of building performance services including ventilation, acoustics, air pressure, thermal imaging, energy efficiency, and more.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Building Services team
• Provide technical leadership across projects and service lines
• Support business development by attending client meetings and site visits
• Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and performance standards
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee training/development plans
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery
• Lead by example in health & safety, quality control, and process improvement

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in building services or a related field (mechanical/electrical/energy/environmental)
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and compliance frameworks (Part L, F, E etc.)
• Experience in managing or mentoring engineering teams
• Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Qualifications: HNC, HND or Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
