Civil Engineering Technologist

$80,000 - $115,000 CAD + Bonus + Health & Dental + RRSP + PTO + Benefits
Are you a civil technologist with advanced Civil 3D skills and a strong background in land development design, looking to take the lead on complex projects and mentor junior team members?
This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team where you'll play a key role in preparing detailed design drawings for subdivision, site development, and municipal infrastructure projects. You'll have ownership over technical quality and drafting processes, while supporting project engineers with efficient and accurate design work.
Our client is a respected civil engineering consultancy with a diverse portfolio of land development and infrastructure projects across Ontario. As they continue to grow, they're seeking a senior-level technologist to help lead technical delivery on large-scale projects and support the development of junior staff.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on high-quality design work, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is confident working independently on complex CAD models. You'll also be encouraged to grow your career with pathways toward engineering or project coordination roles in future.
The Role:
- $80,000 - $115,000 CAD + Bonus + Health & Dental + RRSP + PTO + Benefits
- Take ownership of drafting and design for land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Oversee and mentor junior technologists to maintain quality and consistency across deliverables
- Support project engineers by preparing complex design packages and contributing to project planning
The Person:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent; ideally working toward C.Tech., C.E.T., or L.E.T. designation
- Experience in land development design, with strong Civil 3D proficiency
- Familiar with Ontario Building Code, municipal standards, and approval processes
