Join a pioneering aviation manufacturer and play a key part in bringing the world's most advanced amphibious aircraft from design to flight. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Flight Control Systems Engineer to make a real contribution to the safety, testing, and certification of aircraft that few engineers get the chance to work on.

In this role, you will have involvement across the whole flight control system development lifecycle, from architecture definition and technical supplier management through to testing, compliance and certification. You will work closely with engineering teams and see your work taken from design to flight on prototype aircraft.

If you have proven expertise within an EASA Part 21J DO, an understanding of EASA certification and experience in aviation system integration, preferably flight controls, this is your chance to use that expertise where it will count. Fluent English is required.

The Role:

• Responsible for architecture and design of flight control systems
• Develop and integrate flight control systems
• Conducting system testing for safety-of-flight and aircraft certification
• Technical supplier management
• Assisting production engineers with avionics testing on prototype aircraft

The Person:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience in aircraft avionics system integration & design
• Knowledge of EASA certification processes
• Experience within an EASA Design Organisation (21J)
• Fluent in English
