Are you a Flight Physics Engineer, Aeroelastic Engineer or Structural Dynamics Engineer looking to take on a technically challenging role where you will build deep expertise in aeroelastic compliance and analysis for an active certification programme?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity that provides long term development opportunities, working across aeroelastic analysis, model correlation and certification documentation in a highly technical aviation environment.

You will be joining a well-established specialist aviation business with an international working environment, known for engineering-led problem solving and high standards of technical documentation. As a result of continued programme requirements, they are now looking to add to their flight physics capability.

In this role you will demonstrate compliance with aeroelastic requirements within a CS-23 certification programme, carrying out rudder reversal, divergence and flutter analyses using MSC Nastran. You will update the aeroelastic FEM and correlate it against GVT and flight test data, producing supporting documents for authority review. You will also support wider flight physics activities including loads, flight characteristics, performance and aerodynamics.

This role would suit a motivated Flight Physics Engineer with aeroelastic analysis experience, looking for a technically stretching position with development, responsibility and long-term progression.

The Role:

• Aeroelastic compliance and analysis support within a CS-23 certification programme
• Rudder reversal, divergence and flutter analysis using MSC Nastran
• Updating and correlating the aeroelastic FEM with GVT and flight test data
• Producing supporting documentation and supporting authority review

The Person:

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience with aeroelastic / structural dynamics analysis
• Good English skills (German beneficial)
