Are you a Financial Accountant / Bilanzbuchhalter looking for a role where you will take real ownership of bringing an accounting function in-house and help shape the finance set-up of a growing renewables business?

On offer is a high-impact position where you will work closely with senior international stakeholders, receive training on a new ERP roll-out, and play a key role in building scalable processes as the business continues to expand.

This organisation is a well-established renewable energy specialist operating across Europe, with significant recent growth and clear plans to scale further. As a result, they are strengthening their finance capability in Germany to support more project activity, tighter controls and improved reporting.

In this role you will own day-to-day accounting and month-end/year-end reporting under HGB, support controlling workflows, and translate local performance for group-level stakeholders, working in a hybrid model from Halle.

This role would suit an ambitious Financial Accountant / Bilanzbuchhalter looking for ownership, progression, and the chance to help build best-practice finance processes in a fast-growing environment.

The Role:

• Bring the accounting function in-house and improve processes/workflows
• Day-to-day accounting including AR/AP, bank and asset accounting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (HGB)
• Support controlling structures and group reporting in an international environment
• Hybrid working based from Halle (Saale)

The Person:

• Qualified Financial Accountant / Bilanzbuchhalter (or equivalent commercial accounting training)
• Strong knowledge of HGB and confident using Excel and ERP systems
• Fluent German with professional English
