In this role, you will support the development of satellite on-board software (OBSW), with a particular focus on on-board computer (OBC) software and broader flight software. You will work closely with systems, avionics, and test teams to implement reliable software for mission-critical environments, supporting integration and verification activities to ensure flight-ready performance.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in satellite flight software development (or closely related mission-critical embedded software), with strong engineering fundamentals, a structured approach to requirements and testing, and fluent English.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain satellite on-board software (OBSW) for on-board computers (OBCs)
• Support the full software lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, test, integration and verification
• Collaborate with systems and hardware teams to support software/system integration
• Produce and maintain technical documentation to support development and verification
• Support continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling, and ways of working

The Person:

• Experience in the Space and/or Defence industry (or other mission-critical embedded environments)
• Background in satellite OBC software and/or satellite flight software development
• Strong embedded software development skills
• Fluent English
